General Warranty

As specified in our Bid/Proposal and Purchase Order Agreement, Advance Data Communications warrants that its installation work and materials shall be free from defects in workmanship and compliance for a period of ONE (1) YEAR, except as delineated in the Specific Limitations below.

Advance Data Communications will, at its option, repair the products or parts at no charge, or provide replacements at no charge, or refund the original purchase price of the products containing the defective parts. Decisions as to whether to repair and replace, or refund shall be made by Advance Data Communications, in its sole discretion. Replacement parts will be the closest equivalent current product and may not exactly match the original.

Specific Limitations

This warranty applies only to products installed by Advance Data Communications and products used in accordance with equipment manufacturer’s specifications. This Limited Warranty does not cover any product that has been abused, misused, altered or used for a purpose other than that for which it was intended or in a manner inconsistent with any instructions regarding its use, nor does it cover improper maintenance or service, improper handling, exposure to elements such as water, fire, and lightning.

Material degradation is normal and does not indicate a product defect and therefore is not covered by this warranty. Advance Data Communications may require proof of the date of purchase of any product or services, so you should retain your invoice.

THERE ARE NO OTHER WARRANTIES EXCEPT AS SET FORTH HEREIN. ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY IS LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE PERIOD OF COVERAGE OF THESE EXPRESS WRITTEN WARRANTIES. ADVANCE DATA COMMUNICATIONS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR APPLICABLE TAXES OR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGE OR LOSS TO PERSONS OR OTHER PROPERTY.

1) Identify the Advance Data Communications product that is involved, the date and place of purchase;

2) Describe completely what the claimed defect is (photographs may be helpful) and where the product can be inspected; and

Advance Data Communications reserves the right to inspect, or designate a person to inspect, any part that is claimed to be defective and covered by these warranties.
